This jail was known to be one of the biggest jails of India during the British Empire. The show time

This program describes about scarifies made by our Indian freedom fighter and also showcases the ruthless harassment that they had to confront while in jail.
There is a long queue to get tickets for the show and people start forming queue much before the show begins. It is very difficult to get the tickets if you are going at the very last moment. There are however two queues for ticket, one for men and other for women and each person is given a maximum of four tickets. The queue of women is shorter compared to that of men and hence you can get lucky if you have a female member with you.

For your information

We stood in queue to get our tickets right from 4 O’clock for show of 5:30 pm yet couldn’t get the tickets. Our cab driver however made some arrangement of tickets. Also, since we were just two in number, he was able to manage for our ticket; don’t know exactly how he was able to get it for us.

We first went to Cellular Jail and roamed about an hour thereafter we went to Corbyn’s cove Beach and were back at 4 O’clock to stand in queue to get tickets for light and sound show at Cellular Jail.
The light and sound show was simply awesome and a must watch, atleast if you are an Indian, to realize the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to know how difficult was the path towards freedom of India.
